Privacy Policy – AirWeb

AirWeb (“the App”) is an iPhone web browser that can display webpages on a TV using Apple’s AirPlay Screen Mirroring. This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you use the App.

Summary

  • No user accounts. The App does not offer logins or profiles.
  • No analytics or tracking. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking identifiers.
  • No personal data collected by us. We do not collect, store, or sell personal information.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
  • Browsing history sent to us
  • Location data
  • Contacts, photos, or files
  • Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
  • Usage analytics or event tracking

Information Processed on Your Device

The App displays webpages you choose to visit and mirrors your screen using Apple’s AirPlay Screen Mirroring. Webpage content is handled on your device and through the network services required to load the websites you request. We do not operate servers that receive your browsing activity.

Third-Party Websites and Services

When you visit a website, that website (and its third-party partners such as content delivery networks, embedded video players, or ad networks) may collect data according to their own privacy policies. This can include IP address, cookies, and device/browser information. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites you visit.

Apple / iOS

Apple may collect information related to your device and usage of the App under Apple’s own policies and your device settings. For example, if you have enabled sharing of diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us with aggregated or device-level crash or performance reports. If we receive such diagnostics, we use them only to improve app stability and performance and do not attempt to identify you.

Permissions

AirWeb may require network-related permissions to load webpages and to support AirPlay Screen Mirroring (for example, access to your local network). These permissions are used only to provide the App’s functionality and not for tracking.

Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, we do not maintain user databases or retain personal information. Any website data (such as cookies or website storage) is managed by iOS/WebKit on your device under your device settings.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Users

If you are located in the EEA/UK, we act as a “data controller” only to the extent we receive optional Apple-provided diagnostics (as described above). Our legal basis is our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the App. Otherwise, we do not process personal data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will reflect the latest version.
